mod: is co-owned by one of Leeds most respected men’s hairdressers and American Crew educator, Izaak Brading. Started in Leeds in 2008, mod: began life as a men’s hairdressing business and after 4 successful years, has grown and evolved to become a fully fledged unisex salon with his business partner, James Langley, British Hairdresser of the Year Finalist 2007 and one of Leeds top ladies hairdressers.

Together, James and Izaak have set out to challenge the way we think about traditional unisex hairdressers.

Walk in to mod: and you will find a dedicated men’s area, where Izaak, Michael and Suzan offer services that range from classic barbering to contemporary styling and colouring, using American Crew and D:Fi products in surroundings with a cool masculine edge; continue your journey and you will find a unique, retro and simply gorgeous ladies hairdressers area where James, Kim and Elissa, with the aid of Tony and Nic, cut, tease and make hair look simply fantastic using KMS and Goldwell products; continue upstairs and you will find a hair colouring area that is different again and exudes a cool, laid-back calmness, out the way of the hustle and bustle of the salon floor.

James and Izaak have created a philosophy at mod: that simply offers an unsurpassable hairdressing service, allied to unsurpassable customer service.
